[Slapstick Animatic] - Minefield
Animatic for a short film I'm animating traditionally. Ruben is a 1960s American soldier, just trying to exit a minefield... you know... as you do. Anyway, a turkey bird has just landed in front of the object and is curious about the flashing object on the ground. So, I did a bit of research for this. Apparently Vietnam war troops received live turkeys at thanksgiving while in Vietnam. I was also surprised to learn that Turkeys can indeed fly. Below are the character designs
